Services
IFM offers a full menu of direct marketing
services to its clients. We view our role in the process as more than
just a marketing arm. We tailor our services to match the needs of our
manager-clients. Some want services that others do not need, or care
to pay for. We offer both bundled and unbundled services that should
meet most needs.
Manager Assistance
At IFM we believe that presentation of
materials to prospective investors is extremely important…as the old
saying goes “you only get one chance to make a first impression” and
presentation material is usually that medium.
We assist new clients from day one with a
complete overview of their existing presentation data and offer our
experience as to what has worked and what has not. We help managers
decide how their own particular styles or unique attributes are
marketable and how to favorably exploit them. After refreshing, if
necessary, any marketing materials, we will provide a step-by- step
marketing strategy beginning with introductory meetings, aid in the
preparation of RFI’s and RFP’s. When business is won, IFM will
continue to provide the link between manager and client for
communication requirements, thus, allowing the manager to manage and
IFM to communicate between the two parties.
Business Development
Introduction and presentation of existing
product or products to public funds, Taft-Hartley plans, corporations,
foundations, endowments, financial consultants and high net worth
users. IFM has particular interest in and knowledge of certain public
funds activity. |

New Product Development
We assist in new product
planning, identifying and soliciting potential buyers in the targeted
market. This could include launching a second strategy within an
existing strategy such as a small growth cap product based on the
process of a large cap growth strategy. Private placements and private
equity sales either as direct placements or through fund-of-fund
platforms are also offered.
Consultant Contacts
IFM has many years
experience presenting investment managers in the consultant channel.
We have developed relationships with national and regional consultants
that have strong interests in finding new investment talent and new
product.
Client Services
We provide ongoing client
service to all clients we introduce to managers. We have periodic
visits with Trustee’s, Executive Directors and other decision makers
and keep communication lines open. Additionally, IFM will provide full
client service to our client-managers’ existing client base freeing
them to manage and produce
product. We will attend the necessary client or board meetings and
present on the managers behalf all pertinent data and report back to
the manager all client issues. We have successfully done this with an
existing client. This is a good forum for presenting new products and
asking for larger management assignments.
As a matter of record, IFM
conducts its own client service on a regular basis with clients
introduced by IFM to managers. We believe that there is no such thing
as too much client service.
